Thank You for an Incredible Canada Day!

What an amazing evening celebrating our country and community at Greenwood Park! A huge thank you to the Canada Day Committee for planning and organizing the evening festivities, which were filled with fun for all ages. From bouncy castles, a Minion visit, face painting, balloon twisting, and a magic show to free temporary tattoos, stickers, flags, popcorn, and lollipops at the Committee tent — there was something for everyone!

We would like to thank:

🇨🇦 The Royal Canadian Air Cadets: 164 Shelburne Squadron and Pastor Gord of Abiding Place Ministries for leading our opening ceremonies
🎉 FUN FACES by Mel for the wonderful entertainment
⚽ Shelburne Soccer Club for bringing the fun with Bubble Soccer
🎩 Magician & Mentalist Wij Siva for wowing the crowd with his magic show
🌿 Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority and Compass Community Church for hosting community booths
🍔 All of our food trucks for serving up delicious food and treats
🎤 Councillor Len Guichardi for emceeing the event

🎆 A big shoutout to Pyroworld Canada for ending the night with a spectacular fireworks display that lit up the Shelburne sky!

🚧 A heartfelt thank you to the amazing Town of Shelburne Operations team for their hard work and dedication in helping make the evening run smoothly—from setup and takedown to behind-the-scenes support all night long.

Spend Canada Day with Shelburne Legion 220! We have a pancake breakfast for 9am to 12 with live music by Sandy Harron and a patio party from 1pm to 5pm with a bbq and live music by C J Traveller from 2pm to 4pm!

Join the Shelburne Legion for a delicious Canada Day Pancake Breakfast on Monday, July 1st from 9 AM to 12 PM!

Enjoy fluffy pancakes, sausage and bacon with your neighbours before a full day of celebration in town. Veterans eat free!

Fuel up before the festivities and support your local Legion!

July’s Sunday breakfast will be moved to Canada Day on Tuesday July 1st from 9:00 to 12:00. We will have live music by Sandy Harron. Watch for more details about the other events we will be hosting Canada Day!
