SEVENTH LEG OF THE VIRTUAL RACE (see details below)

Hi everyone, a reminder that since this is a virtual race, the distance can be run from anywhere, anytime, from the minute you register.

As mentioned previously, wanting to make this race more interesting, we have decided to brake down the 1200km into 7 shorter legs, each one representing a different area covered around New-Brunswick. At the end of each leg, we will be drawing for prizes coming from businesses and municipalities from that designated racing area.

Have fun, and don’t forget to enjoy the journey !!!

SAINT JOHN – SHEDIAC CHALLENGE (170 km)
For our seventh & last leg of the race, participants will be virtually racing from Saint John to Shediac. A reminder that racers can cover the distance either via run, walk, bike, or all the above. Racers can log their kms either on their own (paper log) or by using an App (ex. Strava etc.). No need to show proof once your 170 km is completed, but racers can post a picture in either our Facebook or Strava group… a 7th achievement worth celebrating! Prizes for this leg of the race will be drawn on December 31. Please note that all participants, whether they reach this destination by December 31 or not, will have their names placed in the draw for the prizes.

1200KM CHALLENGE
As TOUR NB: The Great Virtual Race Around New Brunswick comes to an end, we are hoping that this event has motivated you to live a healthier and more active life. Our race might be wrapping up, but we are hoping that your new wellness journey has just begun. Our last challenge is pretty straight forward… Complete the 1200km challenge!!! That’s right, every team or racer who has achieved the 1200km distance and shares a pic of them proudly wearing their shirts & medals will get their names added to the last draw a 2nd time!!!

SEPTIÈME ÉTAPE DE LA COURSE VIRTUELLE (voir détails ci-dessous)

Un rappel que puisqu'il s'agit d'une course virtuelle, la distance peut être parcourue de n'importe où, à n’importe quel moment, à partir de la minute où vous vous inscrivez.

Comme nous l’avons déjà mentionné, pour rendre cette course plus intéressante, nous avons décidé de diviser le 1200 km en 7 étapes plus courtes, chacune représentant une zone différente couverte autour du Nouveau-Brunswick. À la fin de chaque étape, nous tirerons des prix au sort, tous provenant d’entreprises ou de municipalités de cette zone désignée.

Amusez-vous bien et n'oubliez pas de profiter de l’aventure !!!

DÉFI SAINT JOHN à SHEDIAC (170 km)
Pour la septième étape de la course, les participants feront le parcours virtuel de Saint John à Shediac. Un rappel que les participants peuvent parcourir la distance soit en courant, en marchant ou à vélo. Les participants peuvent enregistrer leurs kms par eux même (format papier) ou bien en utilisant des applications tels Strava etc. Il n’est pas nécessaire de soumettre le kilométrage parcouru. Une fois votre distance terminée, nous vous encourageons de publier fièrement votre photo dans notre groupe Facebook ou Strava. Les prix pour cette dernière étape de la course seront tirés le 31 décembre. Veuillez noter que tous les participants, peu importe s’ils atteignent cette destination pour le 31 décembre ou non, auront leur nom dans le tirage.

DÉFI 1200KM
Alors que TOUR NB : La grande course virtuelle autour du Nouveau-Brunswick tire à sa fin, nous espérons que cet événement vous a motivé à vivre une vie plus saine et plus active. Notre course sera bientôt terminée, mais nous espérons que votre parcours de bien-être vient de commencer. Notre dernier défi est nul autre que… Compléter le défi de 1200 km !!! Chaque équipe ou participant qui atteindra la distance de 1200 km et qui partagera fièrement une photo d’eux avec leurs t-shirts & médailles verra leur nom ajouté au tirage au sort une deuxième fois !!!

Some of you have already been sharing beautiful pictures on our group page, and that has inspired us to come up with this next challenge. Help promote NB by sharing your pics, old or new! We want you to showcase where you are from and where you have been. And for those of you who are participating in our TOUR NB event but live outside the province, we are inviting you to do the same.
