As the festivities at the 170th Shawville Fair got underway Thursday night, the circus tent was packed with volunteers and representatives of various levels of government, as well as neighbouring fair boards from across the Ottawa Valley.

The volunteers honoured were Stu Stark, Art Smart, the late Harold Storie, the late Jean Coles, Joan Conrod, Winnifred Pirie, Elaine Lang, Mary Hamilton and the late Robert Bretzlaff.

The Pontiac Agricultural Society wishes to thank all the volunteers, sponsors, exhibitors, and visitors who helped make the 170th Shawville Fair a memorable celebration.

Venez découvrir quelques-uns des animaux les plus mignons de l'Expo de Shawville ! Notre tente pop-up (la grande verte) se trouve à côté du grand taureau blanc dans la zone agricole pour encore un petit moment. Venez visiter la « Mini-ferme éphémère » !

Come and get to know some of the cutest animals at the Shawville Fair! Our popup tent (the big green one) is next to the big white bull in the Agricultural zone for the next little bit. Come and see the "Pop Up Mini Farm"
