A huge thank you to the Timmins Economic Development Corporation for supporting the Timmins Open Pickleball Tournament. Without your support these larger events cannot happen.

The Timmins Open Pickleball Tournament, held September 11–12, welcomed 80 participants from Timmins and surrounding Northern Ontario communities.

The tournament generated approximately 80 hotel room nights and an estimated $13,500 in local economic impact.

With $2,500 in support from the Tourism Development Fund, the event helps bring visitors to Timmins, support local businesses and showcase our growing reputation as a destination for sports and recreation.

🥌WE NEED YOU! VOLUNTEERS WANTED!

The McIntyre Curling Club is gearing up for another exciting season, and we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make it a great one!

We’re looking for helping hands with:
🥌Event Planning – Help us organize fun and memorable club events
🥌 Little Rocks – Help introduce our youngest curlers to the game
🥌Learn to Curl – Welcome new curlers and help them discover the sport
🥌Rookie Leagues – Help new players build their skills, confidence and love of curling
🥌 Bingo duties which happen two Sundays per month

You don’t have to be an expert curler to volunteer, just bring your enthusiasm, a willingness to help, and your Mac spirit! 💛🖤
Volunteering is a great way to meet people, give back to our curling community and help our club continue to grow.
