Concordia Junior Alpenrose Dancers

Concordia Junior Alpenrose Dancers A children's German dance group that practices weekly at Augustana Lutheran Church. The dance group currently has 11 dancers, ranging in age from 4 to 17.

We can be seen performing at local events such as Folkfest and Heritage Festival. The Concordia Junior Alpenrose Dance Group was founded in 2014, in Saskatoon, when the group began entertaining at the German Pavilion at Folkfest. Since then, the dancers have performed at the Christkindlmarkt at the German Cultural Centre, The Festival of Trees, Canada Day in Diefenbaker Park, and at a variety of s

enior citizens' homes. The girls' dirndls are handmade by Oma Karla and the boys' lederhosen, shirts and hats are ordered from European specialty shops. The children and teens love to dance and perform together and the group is always looking to expand their membership.

We are so happy to join Tapestrama again this year. What a lovely event.Come see us dance on Sunday at 330 pm.
