Who We Are
Global Vets is student-run club at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine that fundraises throughout the year to support volunteer veterinary projects abroad.
This year, 19 second-year veterinary students will be contributing to projects in Peru, Thailand, Philippines, Ghana, Tanzania and Kenya. This includes providing free veterinary care for street animals as well as production animals, participating in spay neuter programs, helping with wildlife rehabilitation and participating in vaccination programs to prevent the spread of disease.
Through collaboration, we hope to bring better health to animals and the global community.
All funds raised and donations received go towards these projects.
