We invite all community members to recognize Red Dress Day on May 5 and honour Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two Spirit peoples across the country. The day will include:
Knowledge Sharing (10am – 3pm Cosmo Civic Centre, 3130 Laurier Drive)
Focused on prevention, we will host a Knowledge Sharing that includes information booths, speakers and art activities. There will be a program from 11am – 12pm.
Training Active Bystanders (12:30pm - 2:30pm Cosmo Civic Centre)
Community members are invited to sign up for “Training Active Bystanders” from 12:30pm – 2:30pm, which will take place at the Knowledge Sharing. Registration required in advance. For information and to register

Red Dress Day Walk (4pm start/end at Saskatoon Police headquarters, 76 25th Street E)
The walk will begin at 4pm. Faith Bosse, daughter of Daleen Bosse, is the founder of this walk and will say a welcome. We’ll have Knowledge Keepers, traditional drummers and smudging to start the walk in a good way. The route will take approximately an hour and there will be golf cart transportation for anyone for whom walking the route is a barrier.
