Thanks to all who came out, what a great show and variety of customs and classics.

These amazing custom hand-painted and pinstriped awards were created by the talented artist Vance from the White Post Auto Museum. Each one is a unique piece of art, built with the same passion and craftsmanship that makes this event so special.

Congratulations to all of our winners! It was great to see so many proud smiles and deserving recipients taking home these one-of-a-kind awards.

👏 Today's Shout-Out Goes to Our Volunteers! 👏

As the organizers of this event, we spend countless hours planning, coordinating, and preparing for the weekend. But what truly brings it all together are our trusted volunteers. Without their dedication and hard work, all of that planning would never become reality.

We would like to give a special shout-out and heartfelt thank you to:

🏁 Chris & Chell – For organizing all the derby classes, timers, and winners.

🎤 Our MCs, Trevor & Dave – For bringing the energy all weekend and keeping the action flowing.

🎟️ Our Gate Keepers – Dora, Lindsay, Tanya, Julie, Cherie, Quiad, Madex, Brogan, Keegan, Nova, Chase, Aiden, Katherine, Saige, Riley, Maddy, Danette, Chris, and Barb. Thank you for being the first friendly faces our guests saw when they arrived.

🚦 Hope Britton – For handling traffic control, greeting volunteers, and for all of her efforts helping organize the fundraiser for Amber, including both the dance and the t-shirt campaign.

📱 Amber Inglis-Cleverly – For all of her hard work securing sponsorships and managing our social media even while in hospital.

👮 Holly & Russ – Our security team, who stayed busy all weekend (especially with those fence jumpers!).

💪 Chelsea – Our all-around helper. No matter where help was needed, she was there.

⏱️ Our timers and arena helpers – We may not have everyone's names, but your contributions were invaluable in keeping the derby running smoothly.

What an incredible weekend at the Salmon Arm Demolition Derby, Swap Meet & Show n' Shine!

Our community (and those who came from afar) truly showed up, and we couldn't be more grateful.

A HUGE thank you goes out to our sponsors who help make this event possible, our dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to keep everything running smoothly, and the drivers and teams who keep us entertained with their adrenaline-fueled action.

To our vendors, Swap Meet sellers, Show n' Shine participants, food vendors, and every single person who came through the gates—WOW!

Together, as a community, we raised over $30,000 to support local charities, non-profits, youth sports, the rescue unit, and a cause especially close to our hearts, Amber's battle with cancer. More to come about this.

This event is about so much more than cars crashing, chrome shining, and great entertainment—it's about neighbours supporting neighbours and making a real difference.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, everyone. We couldn't do it without you, and we can't wait to do it all again next year!

So much fun, so much excitement, and so much money raised to support our community. ❤️

You all showed up in a big way, and we can't thank everyone enough for the incredible support. From the drivers and vendors to the volunteers and fans in the stands, you helped make Day 1 unforgettable!
