Seniors Picnic in the Park The Seniors Picnic in the Park is an annual event for St. Thomas and Elgin County. The event is held every second Wednesday in July at Pinafore Park.

It is a free event filled with live music, food, fun and information for seniors within our community.

TODAY IS THE DAY! Today is the Seniors Picnic in the Park at Pinafore Park, located at 95 Elm St., St. Thomas. If you have been before, you know it is an event not to be missed; if you have never been, then let today be your first!

We are offering live music, a car show, food vendors, vendors, and door prizes!

It is happening TODAY (Wednesday, July 8th) from 9 am to 2 pm.

You only need to bring your lawn chair, a water bottle, and perhaps some lunch money if you wish to enjoy some of the delicious food from The Ice Box, The Streetery or Bagged Lunches from St. Hilda's St. Luke's. And maybe, you might want to bring your dancing shoes!!

This event is not possible without the dedicated work of our St. Thomas Seniors Picnic in the Park committee, our volunteers, our Presenting Sponsor Nurse Next Door, our Vendors Ally Sponsor Seasons St. Thomas, our Music Sponsor Studio Arts Music Academy and Rock School, our Water Sponsor Simply Pure Water and our Media Sponsor Boomers & Beyond Magazine. We would also like to give a special thanks to the County of Elgin and the City of St. Thomas for their support for the past 27 years!

IT IS ALMOST HERE!!! Tomorrow is the Seniors Picnic in the Park in lovely St. Thomas. The event is happening from 9 am to 2 pm at Pineafore Park! This is a free event and open to everyone from all over Elgin County and beyond!

Live Music, Car Show, Food Vendors, Information Booths, Vendors, and door prizes!

Come on out tomorrow, RAIN OR SHINE and enjoy our 27th annual Picnic in the Park, presented by Nurse Next Door with additional sponsorship from Seasons St. Thomas, Studio Arts Academy and Rock School, Simply Pure Water and Boomers & Beyond Magazine. With continued support from the City of St. Thomas and the County of Elgin.

Hey Folks, 2 more sleeps until the Seniors Picnic in the Park (Pinafore Park, St. Thomas, 95, Elm St.) The committee has been working all year to bring you one fabulous day. It starts at 9 am on Wednesday, July 8th, and goes until 2 pm.

There will be a car show, live music, door prizes, information from local organizations, vendors, and of course, food! We will have the Ice Box, The Streetery and Bagged Lunches from St. Hilda's St. Luke's.

This is a free event that is happening Rain or Shine! We keep this event free with the help of our Presenting Sponsor, Nurse Next Door, and our Music Sponsor, Studio Arts Music Academy and Rock School. We would also like to thank Elgin County and the City of St. Thomas for their continued support.

So bring your lawn chairs and your water bottles and prepare to have a great day at the 2026 Seniors Picnic in the Park!

I hope everyone had a fabulous Canada Day! Looking for another exciting day full of activities? Try the Seniors Picnic in the Park, presented by Nurse Next Door, Wednesday, July 8th, from 9 am until 2 pm. This free event will feature live music, door prizes, vendors, and information from local businesses. And of course, a picnic would not be a picnic without food. Onsite, there will be The Streetery Food Truck, The Ice Box and St. Hilda's St. Luke's will be offering bagged lunches for sale.

Of course, these events would not be possible without support. We would like to thank Seasons St. Thomas for being our Vendor Ally Sponsor. We would also like to thank the County of Elgin and the City of St. Thomas for their continued support!

Hey Folks, the Picnic is coming up July 8th, and we are LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS!

If you have a few hours to help out on the day of the Picnic, we are looking for a handful of people to help with the welcome desk.

Shifts a 8:30-11:30 or 11:30-2:30. Lunch provided.
