Performer Announcement: De Havilland DH.98 Mosquito from the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach, Virginia!
Get ready, New Brunswick! We are thrilled to announce that the legendary de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito—the "Wooden Wonder"—will be performing at Air Show Atlantic on August 29-30, 2026!
This isn't just any aircraft; it’s a piece of Canadian aviation history coming home to the Maritimes. 🇨🇦
Why you can’t miss it:
A Canadian Legend: This specific aircraft (KA114) is one of the original Canadian-built Mosquitos from Downsview, Ontario.
The "Wooden Wonder": Built primarily from birch, spruce, and balsa, it was one of the fastest planes in the world in 1941, clocking in at over 400 mph!
Local Roots: After WWII, KA114 actually served right here in the region at No. 7 Operational Training Unit in Debert, Nova Scotia.
Rare Beauty: After a massive 8-year restoration, this is a rare opportunity to see one of the only flying Mosquitos in existence today.
Come witness the power of its twin engines and the sleek design that made it a master of the skies as a bomber, fighter, and reconnaissance craft.
