The opening of The Foster Festival’s 11th season is fast approaching, and excitement recently ramped up as rehearsals for 'The Bean' officially got underway on Tuesday. As tradition dictates, the cast and creative team kicked things off with a read-through of the script. This new comedy from Norm Foster stars Kirsten Alter and Derek Ritschel.

But there’s more than just coffee brewing at 'The Bean'. Performed at Sons & Daughters Winery in Ridgeville, you can enjoy all that Sons & Daughters has to offer including stone-oven pizza, curated charcuterie boards, Fieldnote Coffee, tea, home-made baked treats, and, naturally, a glass of the winery’s own wine.

One of Foster's latest plays, ‘The Bean,’ begins rehearsals next week, starring Kirsten Alter and Derek Ritschel. This world premiere, directed by The Foster Festival’s Artistic Associate, Jamie Williams, is at Sons & Daughters Winery in Ridgeville from June 10-21. There’s more than just coffee brewing at 'The Bean.' Norm Foster's latest comic spin on man meets woman is being performed inside the unique atmosphere of Sons & Daughters Winery in Ridgeville from June 10-21.

Set against the scenic surroundings of the Niagara Escarpment, Sons & Daughters offers theatregoers an immersive experience that goes beyond the stage. This world premiere combines theatre, culture, and local flavour in a way that reflects the distinct character of the Niagara region.
