Yesterday marked Indulge Festival’s Day of Giving to local food program initiatives in our region. And the best part? 2025 is a record-breaking year!
Indulge Festival, in partnership with Kingsbrae Garden, is thrilled to announce $50,000 in donations to local food charities. During Tressa and Brad’s Tour of Kindness yesterday, the following contributions were delivered:
$30,000 – Saint Andrews Open Door Program (including $2,900 for the Algonquin’s Festival of Trees)
$5,000 – St. Stephen Volunteer Centre and Food Bank (including $3,000 for local school food drives)
$5,000 – St. George Food Bank
$5,000 – We’ve Got Your Back
$2,000 – Shiretown Community Services (Community Soup Kitchen)
$500 – NBCC Food Program
$1,000 – Vincent Massey Elementary School Food Programs
$1,000 – Sir James Dunn Academy Food Programs
This impact wouldn’t be possible without the incredible talent of our chefs, culinary teams, and the many businesses who open their doors to make a difference. A special thank-you goes to our sponsors, whose support allows us to market the festival, welcome visitors to our region, and boost the local economy.
When you buy a ticket, you’re not just planning a fun night out, you’re helping families in need right here at home.
And of course, none of this would be possible without the tireless efforts of Tressa Bevington, whose dedication has helped the festival grow year after year, and the unwavering support of the Kingsbrae Garden team, especially on the accounting front.
It truly takes a village to make Indulge a premier food event in Atlantic Canada and to help end hunger in our communities.
