Next up at the Ottawa Tennis Club series is Amanda Rheume. Ottawa dates not need any introduction to her i’m certain!

As a 2-time CFMA winner and 4-time nominee, Amanda Rheaume’s music infuses Heartland Rock with rootsy guitar-driven ballads and lively fiddle to deliver a powerful, slightly gritty, deeply personal Canadiana sound rooted in Métis identity, history, and pride.

In addition to a decade of CFMA & JUNO recognition, recent accolades include the 2023 Capital Music Award for Album of the Year, the 2024 Spirit of Folk Award and a 2026 CFMA Nomination.

“The Truth We Hold is among the finest Canadian roots albums…”

Hi folks
Well this Sunday at the Ottawa Tennis Club’s Sunday dinner series is none other than one of our very own and Ottawa’s Treasure, Lynne Hanson.
Check it out!!

Here is some content you can use/adapt:

Canada’s Queen of Americana, Lynne Hanson, Plays a Live & Intimate show in Ottawa this Sunday, July 19th, 7-9 pm

With 2 CFMA wins and 5 CFMA nominations, Lynne has been at the top of her game for well over a decade. Don’t miss a Rare Performance on Sunday, July 19th, 7-9 pm in this Unique and Intimate venue.

Get Tix Here: https://simpli.events/e/lynne-hanson-ottawa

Too tough for folk and too blues-influenced for country, Lynne Hanson’s brand of Roots Porch Music with a little red dirt can turn on a dime from a sunshine, blue sky ballad to a full-on thunderstorm of gritty Americana swamp from one song to the next.

While her deep, bluesy croon has drawn comparisons to Lucinda Williams and Gillian Welch, it’s the poetry of her lyrics that really sets her apart.
