Our next Open Doors at Barn Swallow Fields is tomorrow, Thursday, September 17th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and today is your final opportunity to RSVP.

As the evening light begins to soften over the countryside, we invite engaged couples planning for spring, summer, and fall 2027 or 2028 to experience the beauty of the farm and imagine what their own celebration could look like here.

Introducing THE GATHERING HOUSE at Thatcher Farms

A new chapter on the farm, quietly taking shape.

Over the past few years, we’ve been thoughtfully refining a special corner of Thatcher Farms, creating a more intimate counterpart to our signature venue, Barn Swallow Fields.

The Gathering House is a space for intimate weddings, beautiful gatherings, milestone moments & meaningful celebrations. A place designed not simply to host an occasion, but to become part of it.

Every detail has been thoughtfully designed and curated by owner Dana, drawing on years of hosting celebrations here at the farm and a deep appreciation for considered interiors, effortless hospitality, and the natural landscape that surrounds us. The vision was simple: to create a space that feels elevated yet entirely at home here. Warm, intentional, connected to nature, and unmistakably Thatcher Farms.

Quietly introduced within our new Wedding Brochure, The Gathering House will officially open its doors in 2027, with our calendar opening in March 2027 for the Summer 2027 season.

For couples celebrating at Barn Swallow Fields, The Gathering House will also offer the opportunity to become an elevated, spacious getting-ready suite, tucked just steps away from the venue.
