Remember when everyone thought The Soggy Goose was ridiculous?

🌧️ 🌧️ ⛈️

Well…

Apparently there’s always another race willing to take the title of ‘Most Flooded Running Event.’

Congratulations, Racefaster Half Marathon (New Jersey)!

What. A. Weekend. 🪶❤️

To say Mother Nature tested us would be an understatement.

We battled relentless rain, took not one but two lightning delays, and even gained an unexpected water crossing along the course. 🌧️⚡💦

And yet…

Our runners kept smiling.
Our volunteers never stopped showing up.
Our crew adapted to every challenge.
And together, we witnessed some truly incredible performances.

As race directors, we couldn’t be prouder of this amazing community. Thank you to every runner, volunteer, and supporter who embraced the adventure and helped make this year’s .goose.ultra one we’ll never forget.

The weather wasn’t what we ordered—but the perseverance, camaraderie, and spirit on display were better than we ever could have imagined.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. ☺️

Check out Facebook and website for results and stay tuned for more photos and gratitude.

Until next year… keep flying. 🪶

💙 The Heart of the Goose: Our Volunteers 💙

The Canada Goose Ultra may have had runners on the course, but it was our volunteers who kept everything moving. And at risk of missing someone (please tag anyone we may have missed!), we feel you need a shout out.

Through relentless rain, two lightning delays, wet shoes, soaked clothes, and one unforgettable race weekend, this incredible group showed up with smiles, encouragement, and unwavering dedication.

A heartfelt thank you to:

Thank You, !

As first-time race directors, we quickly learned that putting on an ultra takes a village.

A heartfelt thank you to Marathon Matters for not only organizing some staple running events in our community—including the Canada Goose Ultra—but also for sharing your experience, guidance, and encouragement every step of the way.

Your support gave us the confidence to take on this adventure, and we’re incredibly grateful to be part of such an amazing running community.

Thank you for believing in us and helping make this year’s Goose a success. 🪶💜

Thank You, Jason Hubick and the and Hoot n Howl Races!

Every successful race depends on people who are willing to help behind the scenes.

A huge thank you to for providing portable toilets, tables, and logistical support that helped keep the Canada Goose Ultra running smoothly.

The running community is stronger because race directors support one another, and we’re incredibly grateful for your generosity and willingness to help.

Thank you for being part of our flock! 🪶
