🎉We are excited to announce our Official Judge for the 2026 Westerner Dairy Showcase National Show, Jon Kingdon!

Jon Kingdon, along with his wife, Sandy, their children, Sydney, Shae and Cole, and Jon's parents, farm at Charlyn Farms in Warwick, Ontario. Situated on 250 acres in Lambton County, Charlyn Farms is home to a 40-cow herd consisting primarily of Jerseys, along with a small number of Holsteins.

Before returning home to the family farm, Jon spent 15 years as a professional fitter, travelling across North America helping breeders prepare cattle for the show ring. His passion for exhibiting continues today, with Charlyn Farms competing at local, regional and national shows. Through their dedication to breeding and exhibiting quality cattle, Charlyn Farms has bred and owned more than 50 animals that have been nominated for All-Canadian honours.

In recognition of their accomplishments and commitment to the Jersey breed, Jon and Sandy received Jersey Canada's Young Achiever Award in 2016.

Jon's judging experience includes numerous 4-H shows, Jersey Championship Shows and Breeders' Cups throughout Ontario. He has also served as associate judge at the Autumn Opportunity Holstein Show, official judge at the Maryland State Fair Jersey Show and a Jersey show in Louisville, Kentucky. A highlight of his judging career came in 2025 when he was selected as the associate judge for the World Dairy Expo Jersey Show.
