Qualicum Acoustic Cafe A monthly gathering of friends old and new to share conversation, music, poetry, song, spoken word and more in a supportive acoustic environment. Door at 7pm.

First Friday of each month in the Rotary House on the corner of Fern Road and Beach Road in Qualicum. $5 for an entertaining varied open stage and a feature act. Show starts at 7:30pm. All proceeds to the feature act after expenses of hall rental etc are covered. Intermission with organic coffee donated by Creekmore Coffee and organic apple crumble made by our fabulous volunteers.

I recently returned from speaking at the 2024 Earth Charter International Conference in Florida and making a lot of new connections. It was a great experience. I presented my poetic version of The Earth Charter and got a fine response, with an invitation to submit it to Earth Charter International as a communication and education resource.
