Spending the last Friday of Summer Break preparing Cait Nishimura's new consortium piece "Ancestral Flyways", which was funded by some of our students last year as a way of supporting Canadian composers and leaving a legacy for our students. Can't wait to hand it out! School District No. 57

ELF – THE MUSICAL

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Hey, Buddy, are you ready for the show? Auditions for the Judy Russell/PGSO production of Elf – The Musical will be held starting September 5, 2026. The producers are seeking a diverse cast of around 30 actors. Anyone aged 8+, regardless of gender and ethnic background, is encouraged to audition.
Auditions will be held September 5 and 12, with callbacks on September 19.
Potential cast members should be prepared to:
● Sing – a show tune of their choice. A pianist is available or bring your own backup track.
● Move – bring tap shoes if you know how to tap
● Read – audition material will be provided

Mark your calendars!
Our first rehearsal for our 2026/2027 season is TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15th!
We welcome anyone who is interested to please come and try out our concert band ensemble, no auditions necessary. We are located at the Prince George Playhouse and begin rehearsal at 7:30 (maybe try to come a bit early to pick up music!). Please share with anyone and everyone, we truly believe “the more, the merrier” in our music community. Feel free to PM for any additional info and we hope to see you there!
