Thank you to the DSAC for their support and participation in our 8th annual Hospice Colour Walk!.

SD57's District Student Advisory Council (DSAC) proudly took part in the 8th Annual Prince George Hospice Colour Walk. ๐ŸŽจ

Their collective efforts raised $1,400 in support of hospice programs that provide compassionate care to individuals and families during some of life's most difficult moments.

Throughout May, DSAC students were challenged to walk 100 km while championing the initiative across their schools, encouraging fellow students to get involved in support of the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society . The month was brought to a close and celebrated on May 30 at Lheidli T'enneh.

The Colour Walk is more than just a fun challenge, it's a chance to reflect and come together for a great cause. ๐ŸŒˆ

We are incredibly proud of our DSAC students for embodying the values of kindness, compassion and community service. โœจ

Can we give a huge round of applause to the firefighters of Prince George?

Year after year, they show up to support our Hospice Colour Walk. Whether they are on duty and able to stop by for a visit, or off duty and able to join in the fun, their presence is always appreciated and never goes unnoticed.

This year was no different. Despite the demands of a busy and often unpredictable schedule, they took the time to share in our Celebrate Life in Colour day, helping make the event even more special for participants and families.

Their commitment to serving our community extends far beyond emergency response. We are grateful for the support, encouragement, and community spirit they bring to events like the Colour Walk.

Thank you to the Prince George firefighters for all that you doโ€”not just for Hospice, but for our entire community.

If you were at our Colour Walk this year, you undoubtedly heard YXS keeping the energy high and the crowd moving! Their music had everyone dancing, smiling, and enjoying the incredible community spirit that makes this event so special.

But here's a fun fact: YXS is much more than our event soundtrack. They are also a dedicated walking team that has been participating in and fundraising for the Hospice Colour Walk since the very beginning. Year after year, they have shown their commitment to Hospice through their fundraising efforts, participation, and ongoing support.

We are incredibly grateful to YXS and Team Deuces Wild for everything they doโ€”not only for the Colour Walk, but for their continued support of Hospice throughout the year. Their generosity, enthusiasm, and community spirit help make a real difference.

Thank you, YXS and Team Deuces Wild, for being such valued members of the Hospice family and for all you do to support our community.
