Good news - we’ve extended the vendor application deadline for PRISMA on the Beach to May 30!

If you’d like to be part of this vibrant seaside event during the 2026 PRISMA Festival, there’s still time to apply. We’re looking for food vendors, artists, makers, community organizations, and local businesses to join us for a day of music, community, and summer energy at Willingdon Beach.

PRISMA for Kids features hands-on activities, snacks, and a live performance of Peter and the Wolf with narration — a classic musical adventure where every instrument becomes a character in the story.

📍 PRISMA Festival & Arts Hub Assistant
📅 8 weeks starting May 25
⏰ 35 hours/week (280 hours total)
💵 $18.25/hour

The Festival & Arts Hub Assistant supports both the annual PRISMA Festival & Academy and the operations of the Arts Hub at tiskʷat.

This position is funded through the Government of Canada’s Canada Summer Jobs program.

To apply, you must:
• Be between 15–30 years old at the start of employment
• Have a valid Social Insurance Number
• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person granted refugee status in Canada
• A valid drivers license and access to a vehicle are an asset

10 AM – NOON: qathet Symphony Orchestra Open Rehearsal, open to intermediate to advanced, adult and youth musicians. Free!

11 AM – NOON: Kids Field Trip to the Orchestra, with the qSO. Free!

4 PM – 5 PM: “Encore” – A showcase of local musicians spanning multiple genres and instruments. Free!

After a lot of work behind the scenes, The Arts Hub at tiskʷat is opening its doors this weekend and you’re invited!

Friday kicks things off with an incredible vocal workshop and masterclass with Nancy Argenta.
Saturday rolls straight into orchestra, kids programming, and a full Open House celebration with music, tours, and a few surprises.

We wrap it up with Encore, a showcase of local musicians spanning genres and instruments.
