⚠️ LOCAL BUSINESS WARNING ⚠️
We have recently been made aware of unauthorized individuals falsely claiming to represent Golden Spike Days and offering vendor spaces for our festival in exchange for payment.
These individuals are NOT affiliated with Golden Spike Days Society.
The matter has been reported to the Port Moody Police Department, and we are asking our community to help spread awareness to protect local businesses and vendors.
Please remember:
✔ Official communications will only come from a .ca email address
✔Information will only be shared through our official channels
✔ Official vendor invoices are only issued through our established invoicing/accounting process
✔ If you are unsure about any communication, contact us directly before sending payment or personal information
If you or someone you know may have been contacted, submitted information, or sent payment, please reach out to us through our official website or page.
Port Moody Golden Spike Days Society is a volunteer-run not-for-profit community festival. We know times are difficult right now for many local businesses, vendors, families, and community organizations, which is why situations like this are especially upsetting.
Like many community events, we rely on the support and trust of local businesses, vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and attendees to continue bringing this festival to Port Moody each year.
