With the warmer temperatures in recent days, we’ve observed an interesting phenomenon: some of our maple logs have started producing… maple sap 🍁

In line with our continuous improvement and full resource utilization mindset, our team has implemented a collection system directly on our log piles.

Nothing goes to waste 😉



Chez AMEX, nous avons à cœur de maximiser la valeur de chaque billot que nous achetons.

Avec les températures plus douces des derniers jours, nous avons remarqué un phénomène intéressant : certains de nos billots d’érable ont commencé à produire… de l’eau d’érable 🍁

Dans une optique de valorisation complète de la matière, nos équipes ont donc mis en place un système de récolte directement sur nos piles de billots.

Rien ne se perd, tout se transforme 😉

We wanted to share some good news with you:

As of now, there are no tariffs on logs. This is a very positive development, and it means we’ll continue picking up logs as usual.

For the time being, prices also remain unchanged. Of course, we’re keeping a close eye on the situation, and if anything changes, we’ll make sure to inform you promptly.

Thaw period is delayed for an extra week. We have until March 24 with regular weights.

Happy Monday!

The thaw period is approaching, and as of now, it is scheduled to begin on Monday, March 17. During this time, trucks will be required to reduce their loads by approximately 10% to comply with seasonal weight restrictions. End date is subject to change.
