The Monty Brinkworth Memorial Award was proudly presented to Jerry Rhodes 👏🏽
“Uncle Jer,” as so many of us know him, embodies what this award stands for — heart, dedication, and community. Whether it’s on the ice or open water, Jerry’s unwavering commitment to the sport shines through. He’s the first to lend a hand, the one out rescuing others when conditions turn rough, and the guy making sure the lake entrances are safe and groomed for everyone to enjoy.
No matter if he’s in the prizes or not, Jerry always shows up — supporting fellow anglers, cheering others on, and keeping the spirit of fishing alive.
Jerry, we can’t thank you enough for all you do. You’ve made a lasting impact on Manitoba’s fishing community, and it’s truly an honor to recognize you with this award.
