Big Band Day - Peterborough Big Band Day is a full afternoon of Big Band music, put on by five different bands.

The Peterborough Concert Band, along with four traditional Big Bands, Knightshift, Revelation Big Band, Electric City Swing and the Ron Marenger Big Band.

Big Band Day is just 5 days away, it is this Saturday, September 13.
We really want to thank our sponsors.
Thank you Peterborough Long & McQuade for your support in providing our sound equipment.
We could not do this concert without the assistance of Long & McQuade, but on top of that they donate the cost of the rental of that equipment. And this is not a one-time commitment. Long & McQuade have been supporters of Big Band Day from the very first one back in 2018. Thank you Peterborough Long & McQuade!!
This year Peterborough Concert Band is covering the rest of the costs of the day. Thank you to the members and executive of the Peterborough Concert Band.

September 13 is coming quickly. It's next Saturday!!!
Don't miss BIG BAND DAY at Millennium Park in Peterborough.
It all starts at 12 noon and goes until 5PM. 5 Bands over 5 Hours.
Bring a lawn chair and some snacks. We have shelters to keep you out of the sun.
Harvey's and the Silver Bean Cafe are really close if you don't bring snacks.

Big Band Day is only 38 days away. Make sure you have marked Saturday, September 13, 2025 in your calendar. Bring some friends, lawn chairs would be nice, some snacks and then relax and enjoy a great afternoon of jazz and swing music.
The Silver Bean Cafe and Harvey's are close by if you don't want to bring your own food.
We are excited to put this concert on for you.
