The wait is over — the 50th annual Festival of the Maples is officially underway in beautiful Perth!

Downtown is filled with over 190 vendors, maple treats, live entertainment, local businesses, and plenty of small-town charm. Whether you’re here for the pancakes, maple syrup, shopping, or the incredible community atmosphere, we’re excited to celebrate all things maple with you today.

Heads up for downtown residents and businesses ahead of the 2026 Perth Festival of the Maples on Saturday, April 25!

Road closures will begin at 5:00 a.m. on Foster St. (Drummond to Wilson), Gore St. (Craig to North), Herriott St. (Drummond to Wilson), Market Square, Mill St., and Tay Basin (Colborne St.). Please note that no parking is permitted on festival streets or in Tay Basin after midnight on Friday night. Vehicles will be towed.

If you’ll need your vehicle between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. on festival day, please park Friday night in the municipal lot off Wilson St. (across from Perth Hotel & Spa) or at the Perth Museum parking lot off Herriott St. Accessible parking will be available beside the Fire Tower off Herriott St. and in designated municipal parking spaces.

Festival updates, entertainment schedules, and event details can be found through the official Festival of the Maples website and social channels from the Perth and District Chamber of Commerce.

As we celebrate Earth Day today, we’re reminded that events like the Festival of the Maples begin long before the festivities—they start in our forests and on our farms.

From maple trees to local agriculture, we’re proud to be part of a community that values and cares for the land that brings us together.

For everyone’s safety, the Perth Festival of the Maples is asking pet owners to please leave their dogs at home on festival day.

A familiar home environment is often much less stressful for your furry friends than the busy streets and sidewalks of the downtown core during Maplefest.

Thank you for your understanding, and we appreciate your support in helping keep the festival safe and enjoyable for everyone.
