Convention season continues this week and runs through mid-July, bringing out-of-town exhibitors and delegates to our community. ๐ŸŽ‰

Please note that the parking lot in front of the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre and the Penticton Community Centre will be busy.

โฐ Plan ahead and allow extra time for parking during this busy period.
๐Ÿ…ฟ๏ธ Additional parking is available around the complex, including at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

Today (Friday, May 22) at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre and Memorial Arena, mine rescue and first aid teams will be competing at the 68th BC Provincial Mine Rescue and First Aid Competition.

This event is free to attend and open to the public. Come down and cheer on your favourite competitors!

๐Ÿ‘‹ Please join us in welcoming mine rescue and first aid teams, along with dedicated volunteers, to Penticton for the 68th BC Provincial Mine Rescue & First Aid Competition.

Taking place May 21โ€“23, this provincial event brings together teams from across British Columbia for three days of hands-on scenarios that test technical knowledge, teamwork, and decision-making.

๐ŸŽ‰ All events are free and open to the public, with clearly marked spectator areas in place. Cheering on your favourite competitors is encouraged! Please help maintain the integrity of the competition by refraining from speaking to competitors as they move between and during scenarios.
