Grab your friends and family and come cheer on 82 teams of two at Challenge the Shield's Multi-Sport Adventure Race being held at Georgian Nordic this Sunday. Be aware that cheering on teams could be both infectious and inspiring! Trails remain open; however, the site and parking lot will be very busy. Teams, volunteers, and spectators will be on site, off and on all day, as they compete on our trails as well as on the water, just down from us at Nine Mile Lake. Our own Ghislain Henry (coach of Georgian Nordic's Junior Ski Team) is the recipient of the 2026 Heinz Niederhauser Coaching Award from Cross Country Ski Ontario. We couldn't be prouder.
