Calling all Event Planners!

Parksville’s Resort Drive Community is searching for an Event Planner to coordinate P-ART-Y on the Drive 2018.
Are you a great organizer who is self-motivated and well connected?
Do you have experience with marketing, promoting, recruiting, scheduling, and implementing events including site management?
Are you an excellent communicator?
Can you adhere to a budget?
Do you work well on your own as well as with others?
Do you have a passion for art, music and food in nature?
If so, then perhaps you’re the one we need to coordinate Vancouver Island’s largest street party?

P-ART-Y on the Drive is a 4 hour event that occurs the first Sunday following Labour Day and it requires minimal part time
work throughout the year.
This is a contract position with a bonus incentive and you will report directly to the Board of Parksville’s Resort Drive Community.

Parksville's Resort Drive Community is absolutely thrilled to introduce the brand new P-ART-Y on the Drive video. We wanted something that reflected what this event is all about so those who haven't yet discovered Vancouver Island's biggest street party will be tempted to join us next year.
We are so delighted with how well this video turned out but not at all surprised. For you see, we brought in one of the Island's best videographers, Beth Ross from bDigital Professional Video Productions. We want to send out a huge thank you to Beth for grasping everything that is P-ART-Y on the Drive and a huge thank you to all of you who participated in the making of this production. Enjoy!

Just because P-ART-Y on the Drive has concluded for this year doesn't mean that Parksville's Resort Drive Community is sitting back cooling their hoofers. Nope! They're busy carving up the next big event to haunt The Drive. Pumpkins on the Drive-come if you dare! It will be a booo-tiful site!

We are all ready for the big day. P-ART-Y on the Drive is Sunday, September 10th from noon to 4 p.m. and yes, we have a free shuttle service to transport people around the Drive and to and from our new off-site parking at Blue Nose Auto Service, located across the Island Highway in Parksville's Industrial Park.

Look for these Shuttle Stop Signs in front of all the resorts, down inside of Beach Acres Resort and at Blue Nose Auto Service.

Special thanks goes out to the Aarbo Family, Arbutus Motel, Sutton Whitecap Realty for providing the P-ART-Y Bus Shuttle Service and to Al Cameron of Blue Nose Auto Service for providing the extra parking.

I have been asked if P-ART-Y on the Drive is pet friendly and yes, we are. We even have water stations set up for your fur babies but please, keep all dogs on a leash and under control at all times and please clean up after Fido! Do not lock your pet in the car. If you see a pet locked in a car, please let one of our volunteers know. Thank you.

We are very excited to welcome Gwen Spinks to P-ART-Y on the Drive this year. I met Gwen at the Craig Street Market and really loved her work. Here is a little bit more about Gwen:
