Honestly… come early 🍻☀️

The best part of the festival is spending the whole afternoon wandering around with your friends, discovering new drinks, listening to live music, grabbing food, sitting in the sun for “just one minute” and somehow staying there for an hour.

VIP gets in at 12pm and everyone else at 1pm, but whenever you arrive, we’ll be happy to see you there 🫶

Just don’t wait until the end and miss half the fun. Last pour is at 5:30pm and the festival ends at 6pm.

Okay let’s talk strategy 👀🍻

You arrive at the Parksville Beer Festival thinking “I’ll only have a couple samples”… and next thing you know you’re discovering your new favourite brewery, trying cider, cocktails, your friend wants to do a cheers every 12 minutes, and suddenly… no more tokens 😂

A little heads up: our VIP tickets with 20 tokens are officially SOLD OUT 🔥
If you haven’t grabbed your ticket yet, General Admission is now the option available, which includes 10 tokens to get your tasting journey started.

Our advice? If you know you’ll want more samples, grab extra tokens online with your ticket in advance and skip the token line so you can spend more time tasting, dancing, listening to live music, and living your best beer festival life ☀️

A few quick things to know:
🍺 Samples range between 1–4 tokens depending on the drink
🍔 Food trucks take cash/card (not tokens)
✨ Extra tokens will also be available onsite

Picture this… sunshine on your face, a cold drink in hand, and the sound of laughter all around. The Parksville Beer Festival is your perfect excuse to slow down, connect, and enjoy summer at its best 🍺✨

📍 It all takes place at Parksville Community Park, and to make the most of it, bring your own chair or blanket and create your own little spot to sit back, sip, and soak it all in.

🚨 Before you arrive, make sure your ID is with you. It will be checked at registration and is required for entry. Without it, access will not be permitted, so do not leave it behind 🪪

🌱 If you can, choose to arrive by foot, bicycle, or public transport and help keep the event eco friendly and enjoyable for everyone 🚶‍♀️🚲

🚗 Planning to drive? There is a free parking lot available, but spaces fill up quickly, so arriving early is a smart move. Please note that overnight parking is not allowed before or after the festival.

Parksville Beer Fest is back, bigger and better, and we’re looking for high-energy, feel-good bands to bring the soundtrack to one of Vancouver Island’s favourite summer festivals.

Festival Date: Saturday, July 4, 2026
Location: Parksville Community Park
Audience: 1,500+ guests

🎶 THE VIBE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Think:
✨ “Laid-back summer afternoon meets small-town block party”
✨ Music that makes people smile, sway, sing along, or tap their feet

Genres that typically work well:
• Folk / Indie Folk
• Soft Rock
• Classic Rock (clean, upbeat)
• Soulful Pop
• Acoustic or full-band sets with strong vocals
• Blues / Roots
• Country-lite

We are not looking for heavy metal, EDM, or anything too intense.
