Model Parliament | Simulation Parlementaire
Model Parliament is an opportunity for students to sit in the House of Commons as a Member of Parliament, debate against their peers, represent their constituents and ask or answer the tough questions – all while learning the ins and outs of parliamentary life. The purpose of Model Parliament is to provide students with an engaging and educational experience which inspires an appreciation and respect for the Parliamentary process. Through the process of simulating the actual debate and legislative procedure that our Parliamentarians follow, our participants can have an up-close understanding of how the process functions.
La simulation parlementaire est une occasion pour les étudiants de siéger à la Chambre des communes come membres du Parlement, débattre avec leurs pers, représenter une circonscription et se poser des questions difficiles - tout en apprendre la réalité de la vie parlementaire. Le but de la simulation est d’offrir une expérience engageante qui inspire une appréciation du processus parlementaire. En pratiquant le débat parlementaire et la procédure législative, nos participants ont une compréhension complète du processus législatif.
