COMMITMENT! Benoit Forget () commits to McGill University ().
It’s been in the works for quite a while but we are finally excited to announce Benoit’s commitment. A well deserved commitment and a goalie that has been highly sought after. His decision to commit to McGill was a no-brainer for Ben and his family - the program is world renowned both on and off the ice:
“McGill is one of the top universities in Canada and globally, and the hockey program has a great history of developing great players and people.”
Benoit is the prototypical TDH client; he has an elite work ethic, he doesn’t complain about ice or make excuses, he’s low maintenance, understands the process and is patient, works on his game every chance he gets, listens to advice, and is always looking for ways to put his team ahead of his own needs. He’s a world-class young man and someone we have thoroughly enjoyed working with. Ben had this to say about Top Draft’s involvement of the past few years:
“Top Draft has helped me tremendously these past 3 years, the guidance has been invaluable to help me through all the different steps along the way and the support has been felt since day one.”
Another determining factor that led to this commitment is the Rockland Nationals’ program. Arguably the top CCHL franchise on many levels, the Rockland staff has been invaluable to Ben’s development and success. They believed in him from day one and provided him with the platform to excel.
“My time in Rockland has been awesome, I have grown a lot as a player, thanks to a great environment and support from coaches. The culture in Rockland is world class and it has been a great place for me to prepare myself for the next step in my hockey career.”
Congratulations, Benny. You’re a professional through and through. Best of luck down the stretch, and keep things rolling when you get to McGill next year.
