Five years ago Ottawa held its very first Fishing Festival.
The festival was 2 days long and it was a great time for everyone.
Although we will not be hosting a fishing festival this summer, we invite you all to join us tomorrow for a fun evening of Fishing:

Happy Canada day everyone!!!
We hope you celebrate today with your loved ones and take advantage of the beginning of license free fishing week!

For Thursday next week, we will be giving away 20 kid's fishing rods to the first 20 kids under the age of 13.
Please bring your own worms. See you all then! :)

Hello everybody! 😎
As you know, we will not be hosting a fishing festival this summer. HOWEVER, the organizers of the Ottawa Fishing Festival will be heading down to Brewer Park next week for some casual fishing and would love if you could join us. Below are the details:
Date: Thursday, July 6th
Time: 4pm
Location: Brewer Park, Ottawa ON

We would be really happy if you could all spread the word and come out for a fun and relaxing evening of casual fishing.
Since next week is the beginning of License Free Fishing Week, you WILL NOT need a fishing license to participate: http://www.ontariofamilyfishing.com/
PS: The main organizer of the festival has quite a few brand new fishing rods that he would like to give away to children that come out fishing (number of rods to be determined).

Hi Everyone,

Thank you all for your continuous interest in the Ottawa Fishing Festival.
Unfortunately this year we will not be hosting a festival.

Please stay tuned as we are hoping to host one in 2018. In the mean time, we encourage you to continue using our Facebook Fan Page as a platform to share any tips, stories, pictures, or anything fishing related. We really enjoy the community we have built thus far and want to continue with it.

Sharing is caring. Herongate Dental will be giving away a family pack of Calypso Waterpark tickets later today. Those of you interested pay attention to their page tonight. It is nice to take a break from fishing every now and then ;)

Hi Everyone!
We may have some very exciting news heading our way. As you may have noticed, our website has been down for quite some time and our facebook fan page has not been getting quite as much action as it deserves. This will soon change.
