« C'est grâce à ma formation au Département de théâtre de l'Université d'Ottawa que j'ai pu développer ma curiosité artistique et ma passion pour le rôle socio-culturel du théâtre et des arts en général : le théâtre n'opère pas dans une bulle, isolée de toute influence externe. Les professeur-es qui m'ont encadré et les étudiant-es et artistes que j'ai cottoyé-es m'ont poussé à vouloir me dépasser comme artiste, comme individu et comme membre de la communauté franco-ontarienne. Je puise encore à ce jour dans les expériences vécues au Département et les connaissances et aptitudes acquises au moment d’enseigner et dans mes projets artistiques. »

“ Thanks to my training at the University of Ottawa’s Department of Theatre, I was able to develop my artistic curiosity and my passion for the socio-cultural role of theatre and the arts in general : theatre does not operate in a bubble, isolated from external influences. The professors who mentored me, as well as the students and artists I encountered, encouraged me to strive for excellence as an artist, as an individual, and as a member of the Franco-Ontarian community. I still frequently draw upon the experiences and knowledge I acquired at the Department, and apply them to my teaching as well as to my creative projects.”
