GAMER GARAGE FOR THE OTTAWA GAMING CONVENTION
August 28th-30th COHERE CENTRE
Have gaming or hobby items collecting dust? Let us help you turn them into cash.
The Gamer Garage Sale gives you the opportunity to sell your gaming-related items without having to meet with buyers or manage individual sales. Simply drop off your items, set your prices, and we'll handle the rest during the event.
How It Works
1. Drop Off Your Items
Bring your items to the convention during the designated drop-off period. Please see the floor plan for location in the hall.
We accept items related to the gaming hobby, including:
Trading Card Games
Board Games
Warhammer and other Miniatures
Roleplaying Games
Hobby Supplies
Gaming Accessories
Other tabletop gaming items
All items must be clean, complete where applicable, and packaged or presented in a way that allows us to apply a price label.
2. Set Your Prices
When you drop off your items, you'll complete a list that includes:
Your preferred selling price.
Your minimum acceptable selling price.
We'll always aim to sell your items for your preferred price whenever possible. If necessary, we may negotiate down to your minimum price, but never below it.
3. Payment
At the end of the event (Sunday), we'll calculate your total sales and pay you for all items sold.
A 25% commission will be deducted from the final selling price of each item. This commission covers staffing, advertising, processing, and handling all sales throughout the event.
4. Unsold Items
Any items that do not sell must be picked up after the event during the designated pickup window. We cannot store items indefinitely, so please ensure they are collected promptly.
Seller Guidelines
Items must be related to tabletop gaming or the hobby.
Items must be in sellable condition.
Products should be complete unless clearly marked otherwise.
Items must be packaged or suitable for applying a price label.
Sellers are responsible for accurately describing the condition of their items.
We reserve the right to refuse items that are damaged, incomplete, counterfeit, or otherwise unsuitable for sale.
Whether you're clearing shelf space, selling older games, or passing along hobby supplies you no longer use, the Gamer Garage Sale is an easy way to connect your items with new owners while we handle the selling for you.
