The Zouk & Lambada Marathon - TZLM TZLM is an annual Brazilian Zouk and Lambada weekender with international DJs and over 45 hours of social dancing.

We are proud to announce Darius Zi as the second judge joining the TZLM 2026 BZDC Jack & Jill Competition!

A pioneer of Brazilian Zouk in Canada, Darius has dedicated years to growing, educating, and inspiring the Zouk community both nationally and internationally. As the founder of dZouk and co-founder of the Canada Zouk Congress, he has helped shape the Canadian Zouk scene into one of the most vibrant and respected communities in the world.

Known for his exceptional musicality, technical expertise, and passion for dancer development, Darius brings a wealth of experience as a teacher, competitor, event organizer, and BZDC-certified judge. His commitment to excellence and community building continues to leave a lasting impact on dancers across the globe.

We are honored to welcome Darius to the TZLM 2026 judging panel and look forward to the insight, knowledge, and professionalism he will bring to our Jack & Jill competition.

We are excited to announce Laura Riva (Toronto) as judge for the TZLM 2026 BZDC Jack & Jill Competition!

A true leader in the Canadian Zouk community, Laura is the CEO and Program Director of dZouk and has played a pivotal role in the growth of Brazilian Zouk across Canada. Alongside her partner Darius Zi, she has helped build one of the country's most influential dance organizations and has been instrumental in the success of the Canada Zouk Congress, one of the most recognized Zouk events in the world.

Laura is also a respected educator, community builder, competitor, and BZDC-certified judge whose passion for excellence, safety, and dancer development has inspired countless dancers both in Canada and internationally. She was the first Canadian dancer to join the BZDC Advanced Division and continues to be a driving force in shaping the future of our dance community.

We are honored to have her expertise, experience, and keen eye helping crown our TZLM 2026 Jack & Jill champions!
