A few more items heading with me to Crowleys BBQ Competition today in Chrysler, Ontario. Six 11”x8” black walnut steak boards with juice grooves. Then a 17”x8” Quebracho board. Super smooth. Quebracho is one of the hardest parts f hardwoods on the planet.
Finally, a pretty 18”x8” slim black walnut board with an east coast starfish laying on a dark green epoxy resin bed.

Four more quebracho boards from our homes in Costa Rica. Extremely hard wood. Great for cutting boards or charcuterie. Lengths range from 16” to 23”. Also varying widths and thicknesses. “Quebracho” translates to “Axe Breaker” so you better have good knives.

Working with a customer who is also an accomplished artist is a real treat. She knew exactly what she wanted and had a vision. Together our efforts lead to B’s Nest Wood Designs making this beautiful barn door that hides a pantry. Made with two slabs of locally sourced cherry and a mix of two blue epoxy colours and river stones.

Just back from Costa Rica with “muchas piezas” of Quebracho ( axe breaker) wood from our lot. This 22” three hook coat rack will be with me this Sunday at the Original Navan Market from 9:30 - 2:00. Cone see what else has been made. Not being pictured yet because they are already sold and is a surprise.
