We want to say thank you to everyone who came out and supported Oshawa Music Week 2026!

We wanted to give you all a look behind the curtain into what goes into OMW!

Oshawa Music Week is a week-long music festival, conceptualized, planned, and executed by Music Business Students at Durham College as part of their course curriculum.

We want to thank all of you who have come out and supported the effort of Oshawa Music Week, as it directly impacts our learning. Your enjoyment of OMW gives us the hands on experience we need to be successful in the music industry!

Music Business at Durham College offers hands on experience and theory learning into being a professional in the music industry. For music enthusiasts, MBM may be the course for you!

Once again, thank you all for your support of OMW!

How it's Heard • 1:15PM - 2:15PM

How it's Earned • 2:30PM - 3:30PM

Brendan Canning, Ivan Evidente, and Dan Hand will be taking the stage at 12PM for How It's Made🎧

Rich Terfry, Anne Stirk, and Evelyn Cream will follow at 1:15PM for How It's Heard👂

Andrea England, Dan Hand, and Nikita Patel will be on stage for our last panel of the day at 2:30PM with How it's Earned💸!

Following the Music Summit speaker portion, a few of our panelists will be taking on judging duties at The Artist Demo Listening Sessions presented by Lemmon Stage🎶!

Nikita's experience in the music industry comes mostly from the publishing side! She formerly worked as Project Manager at Anthem Entertainment, after many other roles within Anthem Entertainment! She is also currently a Board Member at Hugh's Room Live🎤!

A Music Business Graduate herself, Nikita's experience shows the importance of educating yourself about the music industry🌟!

Nikita is passionate about supporting music creators and ensuring that artists get the representation and compensation they deserve📢!

Evelyn Cream is joining our lineup of panelists at the Music Summit!

Evelyn will be joining the How it's Heard 👂panel!

Evelyn is internationally respected in the music industry. Working in 30+ countries, she understands the music industries intricacies from all around the world🌏!

Her experience covers almost every aspect of the Music Industry, of which makes her an incredible music educator, which she does on top of being a music executive🎶!

She has worked with Grammy and Juno Award winners from a variety of genres, and has been interviewed by Billboard magazine🗞!

Evelyn's passion for the music industry strives from artist development and live performances, which is shown by her attendance of 1000+ concerts🎤!

Rich is the host of Drive on CBC Music, which has a long standing history of supporting Canadian talent🎤!

Rich also is an artist under the name Buck 65, releasing 20 albums since 1992🎶!
