Join us for a documentary screening/ teach-in on Saturday September 12th, 2026 in Simcoe County.

Where: St. Paul’s Centre, 62 Peter St. N, Orillia

When: Sat Sept 12th, 2026, 1-4pm

What: Documentary screening “Funding the Genocide”, teach in and Bake Sale followed by art build for upcoming action.

SC4P and Sustain Campaign will be raising money for mutual aid in Gaza.

We will be screening “Funding the Genocide”, and we are pleased to have a guest speaker from Just Peace Advocates talking about the Canada-Israel Charity Pipeline. The teach-in will be followed by an art build for an upcoming Indigo/HESEG action.

SC4P and Sustain Campaign will be hosting a bake sale to raise funds for mutual aid for families in Gaza.

The zionist settler colonial entity continues its genocidal campaign in Palestine and beyond. They are supported with weapons from our local weapons manufacturers, and diplomatic support from our governments. Shockingly, they are also supported with charity dollars that flow from multiple Canadian charities that funds the genocide.

The HESEG foundation is an example. Charity money from HESEG supports “lone soldiers”, who enlist in the Israeli military from countries such as Canada, the USA, and France and commit war crimes.

Say no to the Canada-Israel Charity Pipeline. Hope to see everyone on the 12th of September.

Loving God,
On this Labour Day, we give thanks for all who work to provide the things we need to live, and for the many ways that our labour contributes to the life of our communities and our world.

We give thanks for the witness of organized labour and unions, who remind us of the power of solidarity and our shared responsibility to safeguard fair wages, safe working conditions, and dignity for every worker.

Bless workers with strength, safety and dignity. Bless employers and leaders with wisdom, fairness, and care. May all who have power use it to create workplaces and communities where everyone can flourish.

May our shared labour, and our commitment to justice, help bring about your vision of peace, dignity, and abundant life for all.

And remind us, O God, that in you, our labour is not in vain.

Amen
