Congratulations to Orillia Scottish Festival committee member Ian Gordon who was recognized as Orillia’s 2025 Citizen of the Year today. The amount of work Ian puts into the success of our festival and numerous other community events, is very much worthy of this honour. Congrats Ian and thank you for your time and commitment to our community!

These gentleman create the rink for the community to enjoy, and put a lot of time and effort into keeping it clear and smooth! From flooding the rink to snow removal, these gents have given the community a real gift. We have had the enjoyment of hosting our Kilt Skate on the rink for the past two years, experiencing a great Canadian past time with a swing if the kilt! Time is running out for you to discover this hidden gem! Thank you gentleman!!!
