Foxwarren

Foxwarren is a indie rock collective based in Regina, Saskatchewan. Formed in 2009, the band has released three full-length albums and has earned critical acclaim for its distinctive blend of folk, rock, and experimental sounds. Their self-titled album, Foxwarren, received a nomination for Alternative Album of the Year at the 2020 .

The band's latest release, '2', arrived on May 30, 2025, through Anti Records, further showcasing their innovative approach to songwriting and collaboration.

Foxwarren's lineup features acclaimed singer-songwriter Andy Shauf alongside brothers Avery and Darryl, Dallas Bryson, and Colin Nealis.

What's New For 2026 at the Mariposa Folk Festival?

- The free downtown stage is moving to Thursday evening. Get your pre-Festival vibe going while checking out Orillia's beautiful downtown restaurants and shops. Four great festival acts will be performing 5-9pm. Mississaga Street between Peter and Matchedash will be closed to traffic. Thank you to the Downtown Orillia BIA for sponsoring this kick-off event. An extra night of Mariposa - fantastic!!

- The intimate Ruth Stage is moving to a shady spot with a natural audience bowl. Check out the site map.

- More regional and craft beer offerings at the pubs from Steamwhistle/Beau's and Sawdust City/Lake of Bays

- New free shuttle stop added at Brian Orser arena (433 Gill Street Community Centre). Getting to the festival will be even easier. Shuttle details here

- 50-50 Share the Pot Prizes are increasing to a total maximum of $15,000! There will be 3 prizes again this year, with maximum values of $9,000, $4,500 and $1,500

- ID checks for all patrons aged 16-24 to ensure you have purchased the correct ticket. Make sure you bring ID!

- Same as in previous years, no alcohol can be brought on-site. Bags will be checked at the gates. Ontario's proposed BYOB changes are not in effect in Orillia or at Mariposa.

- Along with lots of returning favourites, check out a wide array of new food vendors and artisan vendors at these links
