Every Kid Who Finishes Gets This Medal 🏅

Every child who crosses the finish line at the Speak Squad Kids 1K Fun Run gets this medal.

No minimum pace.
No qualifying time.
No pressure.

Just one simple goal: cross the finish line and celebrate the moment.

This year’s Kids 1K medal was designed especially for young runners — bright, colourful, fun, and confidence-building. The front says “FUN FINISHER!” and the back says “YOU DID AMAZING!” Every child who finishes receives one.

The Kids 1K starts at 8:00 AM on Father’s Day — Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park in Oakville, followed by the full Father’s Day Waterfront Festival with food trucks, music, vendors, kids activities, and family fun.

And for older kids who want the “grown-up” medal, they can choose the main 5K antique-silver finisher medal at the finish line instead — no need to decide during registration.

The Mercedes-Benz Oakville Bronte Harbour Classic 5K & Festival was featured as a new waterfront run and community festival coming to Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park on Sunday, June 21.

This event brings together a 5K race, kids fun run, live music, vendors, food trucks, kids activities, and a beer garden — all while supporting the Oakville Dads Community Fund through the Oakville Community Foundation.

Come run, bring the family, enjoy the festival, and help us build a new Father’s Day weekend tradition in Oakville.
