On behalf of the chair, the executive members, and members of the elder's council, of the FPU-UK and Ireland, I want to take this opportunity to thank all members, would-be members, supporters of this fantastic organisation for attending our first family picnic in the park at Addington park on Sunday 27th August 2023. I would like to thank the family members and guests who also attended this event and to our wonderful sponsor's.

The feedback received so far indicates the event was very successful with the presence of the Civic Mayor for Croydon, our big sister, Binta, who is the Deputy Mayor of Newport Pagnell, plus councillors from Croydon and outside of London, including dignitaries from France, America and a Magistrate and a High Court judge from Sierra Leone.

The success of this event shows how blessed Fullah people are when we are united. We have shown we can deliver for our people and ourselves. Nothing can stop us from building on our successes ! Our Púlâákû uniquely cultured
