❤️A Heartfelt Thank You Newburgh ❤️
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to all of our incredible Newburgh Firefighters, dedicated volunteers, and generous sponsors who work tirelessly year after year to make this event possible.
From the many months of quiet, behind-the-scenes planning to the very last bit of cleanup at the end of the day, it truly takes a dedicated and passionate team to make Canal Bash what it is. From the horse-drawn wagon rides and live country music by Scott Lawlor to the food, activities, and tournament coordination, every detail is handled with care and pride — all for the love of our community and the families who gather here each winter.
This year alone, we cut over 800 lbs of potatoes — and completely sold out by 5:00pm! The support from our community continues to blow us away.
Every year we expand the event, and every year more and more people come from near and far to support our little village of Newburgh during our winter celebration of the Newburgh Canal Bash. Seeing families gather, children laugh, and our canal filled with life is what makes all the hard work worthwhile.
We are so proud of this community and so grateful to everyone who plays a part in making it happen. Thank you for continuing to show up and support this special tradition. ❤️
