Nanaimo celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the Nanaimo Wine Festival .

Presented by 102.3 "The Wave", the Festival has grown dramatically in the last twenty five
years and is now one of the largest wine festivals on the island. Last year close to 800 wine lovers enjoyed a great evening of wine , conversation, finger food and live entertainment. Featuring over 200 wines from around the world the Nanaimo Wine Festival is a great opportunity to taste, compare, and discu

ss wines in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere and will appeal to novices and connoisseurs alike. Music will be provided by awarding winning guitarist Eric Harper and

the evening includes your wine tastings, door prizes and finger food as well as a commemorative wine glass! This year the Fire Safety House will benefit from some of the proceeds from the Wine Festival. Tickets will be available mid September. Stay tuned for locations
