Today, we stood in solidarity with the Iranian community in Nanaimo to and ensure that the movement sparked by ’s death, which happened a year ago today, keeps going until Iranian women have the same rights we enjoy here in Canada.

Thank you MP Lisa Marie Barron and Tamara Kronis for your beautiful speeches - may we have gender parity in Canada soon and remember that today we are all . And a big thank you to the Iranian-Canadian Cultural Society of Vancouver Island for putting on this rally!
