We're still shivering with delight at the fun we had at Wild About Ice this past weekend! ❄️

In partnership with the World Ice Carving Association, we were thrilled to host the qualifying event for a coveted spot in the prestigious World Ice Carving Championships, set to take place during the 2026 Cultural Winter Olympics in Italy. The winner was Corby Pierce from Winnipeg, Manitoba, with a hummingbird! 🏆

There were spectacular sculptures from this brr-illiant evening:

🥈 Second Place: Andrew Zoller (Calgary) with a peacock
🥉 Third Place: Yann Blanchard (Calgary) with King Kong on the Calgary Tower
💚 Best Nature Theme: Corby Pearce (Winnipeg) with a hummingbird
🎨 Most Creative: Aaron Grant (Edmonton) with a whale wheel
❤️ Overall Favourite: Steve Buzak (Edmonton) with an owl
