Feature Friday 3/3 Starring Patty Krawec!

Patty Krawec writes about how Anishinaabe thought informs faith and social justice practices. Krawec actively supports Palestinian liberation, viewing it through an Indigenous lens of anti-colonialism, advocating for collective liberation and connecting Palestinian struggles with Indigenous sovereignty around the globe. She is the author of Becoming Kin and Bad Indians Book Club. She lives in Niagara and reflects on traditional Anishinaabe stories on her blog thousandworlds.ca

Suzy Krause is a bestselling author from the Saskatchewan prairies. Her most recent novel, I Think We've Been Here Before, was a Goodreads Choice Awards finalist, an Amazon First Reads pick, and winner of the 2025 Glengarry Book Award and the 2025 City of Regina Book Award. Suzy lives in Regina, where she is currently working on her fourth novel.

Feature Friday 1/3 Starring Conor Kerr!

Conor Kerr is a national award losing Métis/Ukrainian writer. Conor is the author of the novels Avenue of Champions (2021), Prairie Edge (2024), as well as the poetry collections An Explosion of Feathers (2021), Old Gods (2023). His latest book is the poetic novella, Beaver Hills Forever (2025). He has a forthcoming novel, Duck Blind, coming out in 2027.

Grim Reaper the good Doctor simply assumes that Mortimer is under the delusion that he is death. Although Mortimer says he is there to es**rt Dr. Thompson to the other side, Dr. Thompson convinces Mortimer that he should go into therapy in order to help him deal with his loneliness and emotional issues. With the Doctor’s help Mortimer confronts his emotional issues and Doctor Thompson, with Mortimer’s help, reevaluates her life priorities.

Feature Friday 3/3 Starring f***y kearse!

f***y kearse is a Black, Q***r, Jewish, Disabled human whose multidisciplinary practice spans performance, writing, and curation. A recovering people pleaser, late bloomer, dreamer, and community tender, their art traces pathways of self-reclamation; where grief becomes a guide, pain opens portals to the divine, and room is made for the joy of unbecoming. They won the Harold Green Theatre Monologue Competition in 2021, published their first book of poetry & prose, umi's prayer in 2023 and co-produced the Telus Storyhive docuseries, Glimmers in 2025. f***y is an artist-in-residence at Maquinna elementary school, a board member with Curtain Razors Art Collective, All Bodies Dance Project, and Black & Rural Arts and is an organizer of transcendental community gatherings. she is living out the wildest of her dreams with her co-creator at life & art, Que, on the unceded, unsurrendered territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səlilwətaɬ Nations.

Feature Friday 2/3 Starring Uzma Jalaluddin!

Uzma Jalaluddin is the critically acclaimed and internationally best selling author of seven novels, including MOONLIGHT MURDER and AYESHA AT LAST. She writes swoony romance novels and twisty mysteries. Her books have appeared on 'Best of' lists in the Washington Post, the Globe and Mail, and Kirkus, and have also been optioned for film and television. She lives near Toronto with her family, where she also teaches high school and is a popular public speaker.

Feature Friday 1/3 Starring Sue Hincenbergs!

Sue Hincenbergs is a former television producer who began writing the summer she turned 60. Three years later she signed major deals with big-five publishers in Canada, the US and the UK, and sold the film rights for her novel THE RETIREMENT PLAN. In May 2025, it debuted as the #1 Canadian Bestseller and stayed on the lists for 16 weeks. It is set to be translated into at least 20 languages.
