The S*x Pistols brought their 50 Years of Punk tour to the Olympia, with Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock joined by Frank Carter on vocals and Panic Shack opening.

On pink and yellow gear echoing Never Mind the Bo****ks, they opened at 9 p.m. with "Holidays in the Sun." Carter went over the barrier for "Pretty Vacant" and called for a women-only pit during "No Feelings."

The set added covers of The Stooges' "No Fun" and "(I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone," and closed after about 75 minutes with "Anarchy in the U.K.," with Panic Shack joining them on stage.

LØLØ brought her god forbid a girl go on tour! run to Les Foufounes Électriques for her first headline show in Montreal.

The Toronto-raised pop-punk singer, Lauren Mandel, broke her nose, chin and jaw in March 2023 and had to relearn how to talk and sing.

She let the crowd vote on a surprise song, choosing between "hurt less" and "lonely & pathetic." "hurt less" won by a narrow margin.

Before "god forbid a girl spits out her feelings!" she told the room: "Let's get messy, Montreal!"

Adam Cohen brings Everybody Knows, the first official family-produced tribute to Leonard Cohen, to Théâtre St-Denis on Wednesday, 4 November and Thursday, 5 November.

The shows mark ten years since Leonard Cohen's death, with his son singing and his 19-year-old grandson, Cassius Cohen, on bass.

Rufus Wainwright, Martha Wainwright and Ariel Posen are guests both nights, with Leif Vollebekk added on 5 November. Montreal studio Moment Factory designed the visuals.

"My father was grateful to his audience for keeping his songs alive," Adam Cohen said. "That's what we intend to do, and I never imagined I'd be doing it standing beside my son."

Doja Cat, DJ Snake and Trivium lead the November concert listings, 23 shows running from arena dates to rooms that hold a few hundred people.

Doja Cat brings the Tour Ma Vie World Tour to the Bell Centre on Friday 27 November with Latto. DJ Snake plays Place Bell in Laval on 13 November with Dillon Francis, and Trivium headline the same room on 17 November with In Flames, Fit For An Autopsy and Frozen Soul.

The month leans heavy, with Slaughter to Prevail and Whitechapel at MTelus, Su***de Silence at Club Soda and Korpiklaani at Fairmount Theatre. 🤘🤘🏾🤘🏻🤘🏼

Magi Merlin plays Foufounes Electriques on 26 November, following the July release of her debut album. Protomartyr, caroline and Ho99o9 also pass through the venue.

Thundercat brought the Distracted AF Tour to MTelus, walking on a minute into an instrumental jam with a black six-string bass and a giant inflatable black cat behind him.

The tour is built around Distracted, his fifth album, released on Brainfeeder in April.

His trio moved between songs and long instrumental passages, with two backing vocalists he introduced as his nieces. "Dragonball Durag," "Funny Thing" and "Them Changes" came in the closing stretch.

The day after his birthday, the crowd sang "Happy Birthday" and talked him out of his fur coat. He finished the night on a gold Sonic the Hedgehog bass.

Noah Kahan will play Parc Jean-Drapeau on Tuesday, 15 June 2027 at 6:30 p.m., the only Canadian date on The Last Of The Bugs World Tour.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, 12 November at noon through evenko. An artist presale for North American dates starts Tuesday, 10 November at noon; sign-up closes Thursday, 5 November at 11:59 p.m. ET.

The 31-date stadium run is his largest headline tour so far, and includes four nights at Boston's Fenway Park and three at London's Wembley Stadium.

It follows The Great Divide World Tour, which sold more than 1.8 million tickets.

The Black Keys played Place Bell, their first Montreal-area headline show since 2014, with an 18-song set that ran an hour and 40 minutes.

Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney fronted a five-piece backing band under a retro Black Keys sign spelled out in lightbulbs, opening with "I Got Mine" from Attack & Release.

A glitter ball dropped from the ceiling for "Everlasting Light." The set included three covers, among them The Stooges' "I Wanna Be Your Dog."

Whitney returned to Beanfield Theatre for a stripped-down set, their first show in the room since just before the pandemic, with Nashville's Emma Ogier opening.

The six-piece played under six scattered bulbs, with drummer Julien Ehrlich starting the show on acoustic guitar for "Silent Exchange."

Songs ran into one another throughout the night, including "Dandelions" into "Friend of Mine" and "Polly" into "Darling." A five-song encore closed with "Back to the Wind" after 75 minutes.

Emma Ogier played Montreal for the first time with a 45-minute set. Whitney's Malcolm Brown joined her on Wurlitzer for "Baby Don't Hurt Me."

The Darcys bring the GOODTIME Tour to Petit Campus on Thursday, 5 November, two weeks after releasing The Noise, a three-song EP. Oliver Forest opens at 8 pm.

Wes Marskell and Jason Couse started the band in Toronto and now work as a duo from Los Angeles, releasing records on their own label since 2018. Their 2011 debut was produced by Murray Lightburn of The Dears.

"When our band first started out, we toured Montreal all the time," Marskell says. "We played Casa del Popolo and L'Escogriffe more times than I can count."

The set includes a reworked "The River" from Warring and songs from Centerfold, which turns 10 this year.

John Summit opened Ctrl Escape, his first arena tour, at the Bell Centre, with a show built around his former career as an accountant.

He began inside an office set suspended above the stage, typing "Press Ctrl + Escape to continue" before the lights went out, then came out in a full suit and tie.

Opener Alok joined him for "Weekend Warriors," Alok's first release on Summit's Experts Only imprint.

Midway through, Summit moved to a second DJ setup in the middle of the reds, then walked back to the main stage through the crowd. He closed with "Don't Believe It (GRiZ Remix)."
