At Gindungo, artists from different parts of the world come together and celebrate kizomba/semba/kuduro. Kizomba is bigger than Angola, or Africa. Kizomba is connection: Kizomba is the dance of the world. And that is why we bring artists and DJs from all the continents to celebrate all styles of kizomba/kuduro/semba in Montreal. Montreal, a multicultural city that beats strong with diversity, adrenaline and atmosphere. Montreal is a melting pot of people from all parts of the world. Montreal has so much spirit its logo is 4 hearts – that’s a lot of heart. You know what else has a lot of heart? Gindungo is not just a party. Anybody can throw a party. Gindungo is 4 days of back-to-back junglerific parties. No egos, no fears, no self-conscious, no beginners vs intermediate vs advanced - no time for thinking in the jungle. We aren’t responsible, we aren’t irresponsible: we ARE party. For real, by Monday morning, everybody is disturbed and destroyed, filled with memories of laughter and connection and dancing. If you don’t shed a few tears on your way home, you weren’t at Gindungo. If your feet don’t burn for days, you weren’t on the Gindungo dance floor.
Gindungo 1 was brutal. Gindungo 2 was the bomb. Gindungo 3 is gonna be a nuclear explosion of spicy hotness. Nothing less, nothing more. That’s our promise to you.
