From welcoming guests to supporting competitions and helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes, there’s a role for everyone. It’s a great way to be part of a vibrant celebration of Scottish culture, meet new people, and experience the Festival from the inside.

It’s Tartan Day!

Did you know this celebration has Canadian roots? In 1987, Nova Scotia proclaimed April 6—the anniversary of the Declaration of Arbroath—as a day to honour and promote Scottish culture. Since then, Tartan Day has grown into an international celebration of Scottish heritage and pride.

Here in Montreal, there’s no better place to experience that spirit than at the Montreal Highland Games—with world-class piping and drumming, thrilling heavy events, Highland dancing, and plenty of Scottish food and drink.
